Associate Specialist, Record and Information Management

Job Summary:

We are seeking candidates with accomplished professional experience, curiosity and desire to learn and grow, demonstrated analytical skills and outstanding academic records to fill the position of Associate Specialist, Record and Information Management.

According to the PRC Law of Documentation and Rules for Document Archive, as a foreign-invested joint venture, Shanghai Disney Resort must establish an archive management mechanism to collect, sort, file, use and manage all kinds of files in various mediums, and to achieve digital archive management in addition to the physical archives.


  • You will implement archive management via the company’s record and information management process;
  • You will work according to the working interface, strategy and plan given by the line manager, improve the filing system, cooperate with each Line of Business to complete the annual archiving;
  • You will take responsibility of daily operations of archive center;
  • You will monitor and track archive compliance at Shanghai Disney Resort;
  • You will ensure consistency between hard copy documents in the archive center and the soft copies in the electronic system.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with over 2 years of work experience in related fields, or college degree with over 4 years of work experience;
  • Experience in archive management, library management or business administration;
  • Strong sense of responsibility and the ability to meet deadlines, handle multiple priorities and perform job responsibilities accurately with minimal supervision;
  • Demonstrate organizational skills with attention to detail;
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking skills;
  • Self-starter and ability to deal with ambiguity;
  • Ability to work in a project team-oriented environment in a complex and diverse business unit of a multi-national company;
  • Have curiosity to learn and enthusiasm for the entertainment and travel industries;
  • Possess basic computer skills (e.g. Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), with knowledge of archive systems and software with the ability to quickly learn and apply new skills and techniques;
  • Fluent in spoken and written Mandarin and English.
