Chef de Cuisine

Job Summary:

A Chef de Cuisine is in charge of one or more than one location and working in various kitchens. You are the one who provides leadership, plans, organizes and manages kitchen activities and staff, carries out some menu planning, creates and prepares dishes, controls food costs, quality, and hygiene, and maintains kitchen equipment. You are responsible for the entire restaurant kitchen under care, the culinary staff, the menu, cost, and all special events that require food service from these locations.

As the leader of a highly trained culinary team at various locations, you need to build the restaurants into a place that constantly provides the highest standard in food quality, within the given guidelines and food cost and to maintain a safe and clean environment for a highly motivated culinary Cast Members.


  • You will prepare dishes;
  • You will maintain food hygiene and work safety;
  • You will be in charge of the various kitchen locations;
  • You will control food cost, quality, and consistency;
  • You will plan and organizing kitchen activities in all kitchens under his/her care;
  • You will provide leadership & managing kitchen staff;
  • You will communicate with Restaurant Managers;
  • You will provide training to the kitchen cast members.

Basic Qualifications:

  • With a High School or college degree above;
  • With more than 10 years’ experience in culinary;
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin;
  • Needs to be fluent in HACCP and general food sanitation and safety;
  • Must have extensive knowledge in leading and managing large culinary staff in a concept design;
  • Experience in high-quality, 4 or 5-star hotel or restaurant operations;
  • Must be creative, and have extensive knowledge about food products and techniques;
  • Must have excellent organizations skills and be able to thrive in a rapidly changing environment;
  • Must be a good leader and able to motivate staff to achieving the highest performance and standard;
  • Good communication and listening ability; Be able to work with an entry-level Cast Member up to a senior management level Cast Member;
  • Must be passionate about food, product, and people;
  • Have to carry in a professional manner, with high moral standards.
