As a Manager, Media, you will lead and setup media strategy to teams and cross-business teams for Shanghai Disney Resort guided by consumer insights and business needs, maximize the effectiveness and efficiency of media investments across Shanghai Disney Resort priority markets to achieve planned visitation and revenue goals. You will report to Senior Manager, Communications Planning, and work in Shanghai.
Responsibilities:o You will develop priority market strategy, and lead holistic media planning and buying for Shanghai Disney Resort in China;
o You will monitor effective benchmarks for measuring the impact of media programs and analyze, review, and report on effectiveness of campaigns in an effort to maximize results;
o You will drive efficiency of paid media performance versus market benchmark, competitors and previous performance;
o You will give strategic recommendations and guidelines on allocation of investment;
o You will set the business case: identify, influence across the organization and convince on the opportunity and urgency;
o You will define and implement the proper key performance indicators (KPIs), coordinate the appropriate deployment: educate, pilot, measure, share;
o You will develop and nurture in-market media and digital teams;
o You will participate in agency performance reviews and pitches and ensure full compliance and assessment of best strategic choice;
o You will work with supervisors and relevant departments to ensure that financial and media audits, contract management and procurement and other related tasks are in line with company specifications; You will drive the management of data driven performance and decisions through regular media committee meetings in market;
o You will develop and share best practices with other marketing functions.
Basic Qualifications:o Bachelor’s degree with at least 10 years of directly related experience;
o Solid experience in both media agency and media department from client side;
o Strong Media planning, Media purchase and negotiations expertise;
o Cross media competence driven through media characteristics, consumption and habits to define best strategy;
o Clearly define the consumer journey and understand role brand and channel plays;
o Evaluate practices, media opportunities and provide top management with analysis and actionable inputs;
o Strong media network in China;
o Fluent in listening, speaking, reading and writing in English and Mandarin;
o Strong presentation skills.
