Job Summary:

The Walt Disney Company's Media & Entertainment Distribution (DMED) is a new, global business segment for The Walt Disney Company with the mission of providing consumers around the world access to the content they want most, on the latest platforms, at a time of rapidly-evolving consumer habits. Combining the Company's direct-to-consumer streaming services – ESPN+, the Disney+ streaming service and its ownership stake in Hulu -- alongside Disney's international media businesses, DMED aligns cutting-edge technology with world-class content and beloved brands to expand the Company's global footprint and deliver highly-personalized entertainment experiences to diverse consumers around the world.



The Compensation department leads the design, implementation, and administration of compensation programs that support our U.S. and international clients. This includes designing base salary & incentive plans and alternative rewards programs that are consistent with market conditions, internal equity, a pay for performance philosophy and the company’s business and HR priorities and strategies.



As part of the Disney Media & Entertainment Distribution (DMED) Compensation team, this Senior Comp Data & Process Analyst PH position will be responsible for providing a broad range of project support for the implementation and execution of compensation programs that attract and retain employees across multiple functional areas and disciplines in a competitive landscape. The suite of functions this role will support can include Compensation, Core HR, and Organizational Management as well as data and process integration across DMED. This role is routinely required to partner with functional experts, line of business stakeholders, and technical teams across the enterprise to ensure the effective delivery of integrated system and process solutions.

The Analyst must analyze and define complex functions, business processes, and user needs across the global DMED segment. The results of their work impacts the employee experience, leader experience; supports and enables policy administration; and mitigates risk for the company. Analysts must assess and evaluate requests/business needs using HR subject matter expertise, technical knowledge, policy/compliance knowledge, and weigh it against various impacts and dependencies for the purpose of providing recommendations/solutions.

Responsibilities:

This Senior Comp Data & Process Analyst (PH) will primarily be responsible for supporting multiple, diverse business areas to across DMED in inclusive of support to:
  • Effectively partner with segment and enterprise compensation teams on the implementation and support of functional compensation tools and programs across DMED
  • Provide support to the Annual Compensation Planning cycle & other compensation management activities
  • Evaluate and document current state processes
  • Assess change impacts and assist in the development of change management plans
  • Propose roles and responsibilities
  • Propose and secure buy in for future state process design
  • Assist with training material development and delivery
  • Assist with the development of communications to stakeholders & end users
  • Participate in application testing exercises
  • Write business requirements to enable solution definition
  • Work on various compensation data integrity projects in alignment with Enterprise standards, and ensure data consistency is maintained across the Enterprise, in alignment with strategic HR initiatives and analytical reporting requirements
  • Support project management activities such as task management, status reports and stakeholder management

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A robust knowledge of compensation program concepts and practices
  • Strong sense of teamwork, conflict resolution skills and relationship builder
  • Proven advanced experience with one or more of the following: SAP Compensation, ELE, ORG; Workday Compensation, Core HR, Org; Successfactors Compensation; business data intelligence tools
  • Prior experience scaling a solution globally
  • Prior experience working on projects and with common project management methodologies
  • Experience with large data set management
  • 3-5 years related HR experience

Required Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
