Specialist, Rewards Planning & Operations – Disney Movie Insiders

Job Summary:

The DMED Customer Relationship Management (CRM) team is responsible for creating a best in class experience for our most engaged movie fans. We leverage the widely recognized and beloved brands of the Walt Disney Studios to create a direct relationship with our fans, and in turn, to drive business objectives by providing our stakeholders with insights on consumer behavior and preferences. Its primary avenue for meeting these goals is Disney Movie Insiders, the premier engagement platform for all Pixar, Walt Disney Animation, Disney Live Action, Marvel Studios, Star Wars, select Fox releases and more.

The Rewards Planning & Operations Specialist is responsible for the coordination and execution of strategic initiatives in members benefits and rewards, . This position ensures the delivery of value-add member interactions across the platform, with a particular focus on rewards planning & catalog management, setup of new member benefits, launching new earn and redeem activities, member surprise & delight and rewards fulfillment. This role will report to the Senior Manager, Member Experience & Rewards with the potential to grow into a managerial position.


  • Lead rewards operations, including the establishment of point valuations, management and all production elements of rewards uploads into the onsite catalog. Manage the back-end systems that support Reward delivery on the Disney Movie Insiders platform.
  • Support the Senior Manager, Member Experience & Rewards to design and implement new initiatives in member benefits and rewards. Present creative ideas for new rewards and experiences.
  • Plan and manage ongoing the inventory release cadence in support of planned promotions and communications.
  • Establish and maintain accurate, reconciled physical inventory records with our fulfillment provider.
  • Provide ongoing direction to platform production on programming and maintenance for the Earn, Redeem and other related sections of the platforms to ensure accuracy and a quality user experience. Coordinate setup of new rewards and activities, as well as user testing and feature enhancements as needed.
  • Oversee the execution and enhancement of member surprise & delight campaigns in collaboration with the CRM and Member success teams.
  • Manage program-related insert production and programming from inception to delivery across marketing and rewards initiatives. Partner with creative producer, design team, Brand, and Sourcing and Procurement to manage insert workflow with print vendors. Align with Product Team to resolve operational issues with code generation, distribution and activation.
  • Facilitate and monitor A/B testing to track, measure and optimize performance across workstreams

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in product marketing, loyalty marketing, e-commerce, sourcing and experiential marketing.
  • Ability to independently manage projects with multiple moving parts and milestones.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration and planning skills. Demonstrated success working with cross-functional teams both internal and external, to deliver meaningful results on time and on budget.
  • Attention to detail with a creative eye. Ability to develop creative solutions and innovations to enhance member success.
  • Results-driven with the ability to anticipate needs. Nimble and flexible with regards to changing priorities & business needs.
  • Strong quantitative analytical skills and presentation skills.
  • Technical: Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Adobe Creative Suite

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Background in a fast-paced production-oriented online environment with multiple stakeholders and shifting priorities.
  • Prior experience in entertainment or similar creative industry a plus.

Required Education

  • BA/BS Degree or Comparable Work Experience
