As you join this team, you will be aligned to pricing ops activities and deliverables for a certain Business Unit. In the first 6-12 months, you will be able to: Work with Business units to understand business asks and prepare SKU and Pricing deliverables necessary for VMware booking, billing, quoting and Price Books operations Handle escalations from business units or from other business operations teams Participate in managing pricing alias cases Engage in various transformational projects within the company What are the requirements? Student currently enrolled in college Advanced English Be able to commit, full time to the 12-week program, beginning in May 2022. The Work: What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis? Based on what is the charter assigned to you, you can engage in the below activities: SKU and Pricing creation for business offers Price Book creation for VMware Setting up of pricing and SKU related information in various VMware systems for bookings, billings, price books, quoting, etc. Handling case management queries Work with subject matter experts in driving key transformational projects that impact business operations What is the leadership like for this role? What is the structure and culture of the team like? The hiring manager for this role is Rebeca Vargas. She is based in Costa Rica and leads a team that has team members from Costa Rica and India. Her team is aligned to many of the key business units of VMware, and they manage many important deliverables for VMware. Rebeca is a leader who leads by example.
