VMware NSX is a network virtualization platform that delivers the operational model of a virtual machine for the network. What assignments or requirements will you be performing on a regular basis? Depending on your background, interest, and technical alignment to the various areas of Networking and Advanced Security Business Group technology stack, you could be working on NSX. As a New Grad on this team, you’ll work on: Delivering VMware’s NSX platforms. Identify best test strategies and define test automation and code coverage activities of the next generation of NSX product suite, the network virtualization platform for SDDC Building maintainable, high quality and effective automated tests on top of various automation tools and frameworks Design, implement, execute and maintain tests using Python Design and implement core automation APIs which best serve automation needs Build maintainable, high quality and effective automated tests on top of various automation tools and frameworks Collaborate with other development teams, QA, Documentation, Release Engineering to execute on product goals What are skills that would be helpful for a successful internship? Graduating with a Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent). Have a strong knowledge of Networking (Layer 2, Layer 3) Know Object Oriented and scripting languages: Python, or Java, or C++ Interest to grow and learn in the Networking and Security space Be able to learn quickly and adjust to new and exciting technologies Strong communication skills Eagerness to work in a collaborative/teamwork environment Graduation between December 2021 and July 2022 What is the leadership like for this role?
