
Associate Broker (Cyber)
The Associate Broker is an operational role that supports a team of brokers by assisting with
organization, daily operations, communication with clients and client service marketing
support, renewal solicitations, proposal creation, pipeline and forecast maintenance.

The Role
Responsibilities include day-to-day servicing of broker’s accounts, including renewals; develops
business relationships with retail producers and markets; negotiates with underwriters regarding
coverage terms, conditions and pricing on new and renewal accounts; performs other duties as
assigned
• Gather blank new/renewal applications and send to the production team or
client
• Create web-based submissions as needed
• Utilize Connected Broking, Client Proposal Workbook, and other WTW
systems
• Receive new/renewal submission from the production team or client
• Enter and maintain financial statements, forecasts, and pipeline
• Send the submission to carriers; utilize the Panel as needed
o Carry out surplus lines, market security, sanctions, and third party payment
procedures
• Receive quotes and update renewal document(s) as needed
• Create the base WEM presentation for the broker
• Serve as the Second Set of Eyes for WEM (quote proposals,
confirmation/evidence of coverage)
• Secure orders to bind from production team or client
• Provide orders to bind to the carrier/underwriters
• Gather the binders and check them for accuracy; secure corrections as
needed
• Send WEM confirmation/evidence of coverage communication to production team
or client
• Add/renew policy record in EPIC; upload required documentation throughout
placement
• Secure binder contingencies as directed by the brokers; send to the carriers
once received
• Work collaboratively with Mumbai on policy issuance and on other tasks
• Willis Online data input
• Generate Model Reports
• Follow up on invoicing and accounting inquiries
• Set client/underwriter meetings for renewing/prospective business
• Provide support and education on international placements, invoicing and
taxation differences
• Educate the team on updates/changes to the System (EPIC, Connected Broking,
etc.)
• Develop relationships with the carrier’s underwriting teams
• Participates in continuing education to maintain license
• Develop relationships with internal production and client management teams as
well as the carrier’s underwriting teams
The Requirements
• 1-3 years industry experience
• Insurance broker’s P&C license required
• Demonstrates knowledge of core insurance principles
• Ability to conduct research
• Understanding of required placement workflows
• Team player
• Must demonstrate core competency of Willis Values & Vision
• Self-starter/requires minimal supervision

• Develops strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
