As a Lead Associate, you will work closely with our team of like-minded analysts to support senior members of the team to provide holistic and practical investment solutions, to achieve better investment outcome given their specific situation. We work with clients to create the most fit-for-purpose investment arrangement, including investment strategy, portfolio construction.
This particular role will have a focus on financial modelling and simulations, working with senior members of the client team to translate macroeconomic and financial market views into proprietary financial models.
Technical / Thought Leadership
- Calibrate, develop and enhance financial models to specification
- Support senior team members in the construction and delivery of advice and solutions to clients, including performing analyses, modelling, research, and drafting documents
- Work as part of dedicated client teams in providing a variety of services to designated clients
- Delivery of assigned work on time with accuracy
- Build strong relationships internally; communicate and collaborate effectively with team members and cross-functional teams
- Demonstrate natural ease and effectiveness when dealing with clients/colleagues at all levels
Client / Account Management
- Deliver on projects that meet or exceed client expectations
- Increase efficiency within client teams by identifying ways to improve processes

Demonstrate accomplishments and success in working in a collegial environment

A good first degree, with an intention to develop relevant professional qualifications such as CFA or FIA or equivalent. A first degree in economics, econometrics, mathematical disciplines preferred.
Sound knowledge and solid experience in programming languages MATLAB and/or Python. Programming experience in a formal work environment is a must.
Excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong written and verbal communication in English is a must. Fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin, Korean, or other Asian language is a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, Excel essential.
