Bilingual Personal Lines Broker – Quebec Market

Willis Towers Watson Personal Lines is growing and this role was created to support our evolving business in Quebec.  This bilingual Account Manager - Personal Lines Broker in our Montreal or Toronto office will be a member of our Canadian customer service personal lines insurance team and manage clients primarily in Quebec.  The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing existing personal lines client renewals and new business activities related to home and auto insurance.  Our organization is a great place to advance your career in the insurance sector and our competitive compensation packages reward success people and teams associated with successful outcomes.


  • Account Handling:  Manage account by handling the day to day activity associated with renewals, servicing of existing business as well as quoting and converting new business.  Focus of work includes but is not limited to:
    • Provide professional, timely and efficient phone support
    • Resolve routine and complex customer problems independently and efficiently.  Ensure all client issues are documented and resolved in a timely and professional manner
    • Manage and process policies ensuring customer and regulatory needs are met, including proper underwriting of risk and identification of gaps in coverage.  Role includes going to market seeking competitive terms when necessary.
    • Remain knowledgeable of industry landscape and how insurance companies differentiate their product and service
    • Handle all files according to established processes and protocols, contribute to refinement of these internal procedures


  • Assist Department Heads with Project work associated with managing a book of personal lines business
    • Help achieve departmental monthly quota of new business in an environment encouraging transparency into pipeline and activity
    • Cover activities of other roles during times of peak workload, staffing shortages or seasonal spikes in activity
    • Other miscellaneous administrative, reporting and clerical functions as required.



  • Damage Insurance Broker License (AMF) and commitment to ongoing formal accreditation or industry education
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both French and English
  • Experience in Insurance Customer Service
  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Additional Considerations:

  • RIBO license an asset
  • Business Development, Sales and Marketing experience an asset
  • Depending on experience, role may include some Small Commercial clients
  • Proven ability to develop meaningful relationships with successful families and individuals or handling insurance needs of successful families and individuals
  • Experience using EPIC Client Management System, strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Ability to generate data analytics reports
  • Ability to work autonomously or within the team, while working towards tight deadlines
  • Ability to conduct research
  • Must demonstrate core competency of Willis Towers Watson Values & Vision


Working Conditions

  • 8:30 to 5 core business hours
  • Often required to be on the phone for extended periods of time
