Business Analyst - Case Management

The Case Management Business Analyst is responsible for identifying business improvement opportunities by analyzing data and then preparing, piloting and implementing strategic initiatives based on these findings.  This person is responsible for analyzing business metrics, identifying trends, and developing and implementing strategic and tactical plans to impact the business. They work closely with various teams/areas in the organization to develop and implement these plans.  

Essential Job Functions Include:

  • Identifying business opportunities to improve key business metrics by analyzing data
  • Managing and accountable for preparation and launch of strategic initiatives
  • Interacting and communicating with stakeholders to initiate projects; gathering all pieces of information and alignment
  • Gathering, reporting, and analyzing results from various sources to determine success of newly created process/project
  • Communicating findings and recommendations to key stakeholders
  • Manage multiple commitments, prioritize effectively and identify highest leverage areas.
  • Work with others to accomplish goals and to hold others within the organization to account; know when to take on the work and where to leverage partners in the organization.

What you need to be successful:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field or related experience
  • Ability and desire to analyze data to produce strategic solutions, then implement solutions
  • Ability to be objective, strong critical thinking skills and keen attention to detail
  • Demonstrate leadership ability to get results through others
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a complex and rapidly changing environment
  • To be detail oriented, highly organized and both strategically & analytically focused
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Determined problem solver who finds efficient ways to meet client needs
  • To be curious, proactive and self-motivated
  • Enjoy a fast-paced environment and willing to work hard and have fun!

What we would LOVE to see!

  • Experience in the Medicare or health insurance industry.
  • Former experience working as a Business Analyst
  • 1-3 years’ experience in business analytics
