Center of Excellence Leader

The role of Global Service and Solution (GSS) Center of Excellence (CoE) Leader is responsible for: defining the strategy for growth of the multinational and cross-border business in Mexico, as well as for ensuring delivery of services for cross-border clients (headquarters in Mexico and multinational clients with presence in this country). The GSS CoE Leader will also oversee local GSS resources. This role is performed under the direction of the Head of Corporate Risk and Broking (CRB) in WTW Mexico and GSS CoE Latam Leader to execute the strategy for the portfolio of GSS services in Mexico. 

The Role

  • Setting and executing strategy for the pursuit of GSS clients (existing and potential) for Mexico 
  • Partnering with local CRB leaders, Client Relationship Directors, local consultants, sales champions/producers and regional/local geography teams
  • Managing the GSS team in Mexico
  • Managing the Mexico GSS pipeline and sales opportunities
  • Supporting sales pursuits and GSS initiatives for the region, as required
  • Delivery of GSS services to assigned multinational clients headquartered in Mexico
  • Service line development, go to market messages and sales & marketing for GSS activities in Mexico
  • Identifies opportunities to cross-sell new products and services
  • Primary focus on GSS Mexico P&L i.e. revenue growth, direct GSS cost management, and profitability 

The Requirements

  • Proven expertise across global/multinational insurance programs and global program coordination
  • Track record of success in winning new large client assignments with multinationals
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, superior ability to communicate and influence at senior leadership level and ability to work effectively with cross functional teams
  • Ability to lead and manage different geographic locations
  • Proven ability to recognize and diagnose issues, work in teams, and leverage the resources of other related practices to address client challenges
  • Strong organizational abilities and flexibility to work in a performance driven environment managing multiple priorities
