The Role
Responsible in developing and implementing claims proposition across all lines of business, especially for large and complex claims acting as our client’s advocated

Principal duties/ Responsibilities
  • Support development/ implementation of efficient workflow, continuously reviewing the efficiency including offshoring work to Mumabi
  • Establish KPIs and monitor/ report on performance
  • Maintain regular senior communication with insurers and seek resolution of process or individual claims issues
  • Establish protocols working with broking colleagues to provide regular updates on claims status to both client and broking colleagues
  • Work together as a team to oversee the delivery of claims reports to meet SLAs with our clients
  • Provide analysis to assist client with risk management and insurance decision making
  • Seek opportunities for Claims Consultancy Fees
  • Develop and maintain key relationships with clients, insurers and service providers like loss adjustors and lawyers
  • Provide a technical referral point for the broking and claims team – pre and post claims
  • Collaborate with broking colleagues to solve escalated claims and carrier issues
  • Ensure that objectives and goals are effectively communicated to team and that feedback is actively encouraged.

The Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years experience in handling complex claims, preferably in Casualty claims
  • Diploma or Degree
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment to proactively share knowledge and work
  • Collaboratively to support colleagues and deliver required business outcomes
