Personal Lines Service Broker - Vancouver

Willis Towers Watson Personal Lines is growing and to support our evolving business we are adding to our Vancouver team. The Private Client Personal Lines Broker in our Vancouver office will be a member of our Canadian service team and deliver operational support to clients primarily in the West, but will also support the rest of Canada. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing existing Personal Lines clients, with minor exposure to new business activities. The Role 
  • Represent Willis Towers Watson in a manner that helps eliminate frustration and complexity from the personal insurance experience
  • Assess lifestyle risks of insureds; counsel and recommend coverage with the highest level of integrity and expertise. This includes a small portion of commercial exposure from home businesses and secondary income streams
  • Resolve broker and customer problems independently and efficiently. Take ownership of complex or escalated client issues. Ensure all exceptions and client issues are documented and resolved in a timely and professional manner
  • Manage renewals ensuring customers and regulatory needs are met. Achieve monthly quota of renewal business in an environment encouraging transparency into pipeline and activity
  • Evaluation and Control of property appraisal process 
  • Remain knowledgeable of industry landscape and office procedures, particularly those related to customer service and retention
  • Handle all files according to established processes and protocols, contribute to refinement of these internal procedures
  • Other miscellaneous administrative and clerical functions as required

The Requirements
This role is in our Vancouver branch office and part of a National team. The successful individual must be able to take initiative and prioritize their own time while collaborating with multiple stakeholders.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to obtain a broker"EURTMs license in all geography of assigned territory

  • Post-Secondary Education
  • Insurance License and commitment to ongoing formal accreditation or industry education
  • Experience handling insurance needs of successful families and individuals
  • Experience using EPIC Client Management System, strong Microsoft Office skills
