Personal Lines Service Broker

Willis Towers Watson Personal Lines is growing and to support our evolving business we are adding to our Toronto team. This Client Manager - Personal Lines Broker in our Toronto office will be a member of our Canadian customer service personal lines insurance team and deliver operational support to clients primarily in Ontario, but will also support the rest of Canada. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing existing personal lines clients, with minor exposure to new business activities. Key Responsibilities:

• Represent Willis Towers Watson in a manner that helps eliminate frustration and complexity from the personal insurance experience
• Provide professional, timely and efficient phone support
• Resolve routine customer problems independently and efficiently. Ensure all exceptions and client issues are documented and resolved in a timely and professional manner
• Manage, process and market renewals (when required) ensuring customer and regulatory needs are met, including proper underwriting of risk and identification of gaps in coverage. Help achieve departmental monthly quota of renewal business in an environment encouraging transparency into pipeline and activity
• Ensure all policy level actions are documented and executed in a timely manner and advise insurers of any changes in risk or policy parameters
• Remain knowledgeable of industry landscape and office procedures, particularly those related to customer service and retention
• Handle all files according to established processes and protocols, contribute to refinement of these internal procedures
• Other miscellaneous administrative and clerical functions as required

Core Qualifications:


• Kind and helpful personality
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to obtain a broker’s license in all geography of assigned territory
Additional Considerations:
• Post-Secondary Education
• Experience in Customer Service
• Experience broking policies for various personal lines insurance carriers in Ontario and other provinces
Insurance License (RIBO) and commitment to ongoing formal accreditation or industry education
• Proven ability to develop meaningful relationships with successful families and individuals or handling insurance needs of successful families and individuals
• Experience using EPIC Client Management System, strong Microsoft Office skills


Working Conditions


• In office presence required, 8:30 to 5 business hours
• Work from home and/or WTW offices when the situation returns to normal
• Often required to be on the phone for extended periods of time
