Portal Implementation Consultant

The Role

As a Portal Implementation Consultant, you will be part of a team that guide our clients through the implementation of our HR portal. You will provide direct consulting services by partnering with our clients to understand their challenges/opportunities and to help them maximize their ROI with us.

You will also be heavily involved with collaborating with the WTW team in developing the requirements setting, portal content framework, page layout, site architecture, personalization strategy and overall user-interface design and usability. Other responsibilities include troubleshooting, testing, and client training.

Analytical thinking and ability to review/interpret/manage client data is a requirement. This data is used to provide user authentication the portal, personalization, and integration with other WTW solutions.

In addition to implementation projects, you will be called upon to support new business efforts for a range of HR software products and provide support to colleagues in managing their client work.

The ability to effectively lead client meetings, facilitate decision-making, and communicate with clients at all levels of management as well as internal team members, is critical to success in this role.

The Requirements

  • 5-10 years of experience in web design, information architecture development, and authentication protocols
  • Demonstrated knowledge in Human Resources-related fields (such as benefits, performance management, compensation, etc.)
  • Functional knowledge of Human Resources technology and business drivers
  • Experience with software analytics tools
  • Client consulting experience
  • Basic HTML experience
  • Ability to aesthetically review web content and pages
  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate client training
  • Excellent consultative problem-solving skills
  • Excellent meeting and workshop facilitation skills
  • Detail and data orientated, strong analytical thinker
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities
  • Ability to work in complex business environments
  • Adeptness at learning new technology and tools
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Demonstrated ability to work on virtual teams and respect for global cultures
  • Process driven with ability to modify approach
  • Must be self-motivated and able to remain focused on assigned projects
  • Must be able to balance multiple projects with shifting priorities
  • BA/BS degree
  • Testing experience an asset
  • A minimum of 25% travel required (apart from Covid-19 restrictions)
