Rewards Associate Director

In this role you will plan, design and implement compensation, incentive, and other rewards programs for existing and new clients. You will participate in new business activities, including preparing proposals for new work, conducting surveys and researching leading practices. You will work directly with managers and functional leadership of mid-sized and large firms to evaluate and develop holistic pay and reward strategies that facilitate achievement of business and human capital strategies.

Performance Objectives:
Excellence

• Deliver superior, consistent project management for multiple, marquee clients:
• Draft statements of work, project plans and budgets involving multiple workflow streams and client teams
• Serve as the day to day project lead, ensuring the progress of the team against established objectives, budget, timeline, deliverables and quality standards
• Serve as primary, daily contact to clients on delivery of services
• Manage client expectations and raise appropriate issues to Senior Consultants and Client Relationship Managers
• Develop leading practice compensation structures, competitive base pay and incentive approaches that provide seamless delivery of appropriate solutions for our clients
• Collaborate and contribute to the development, design and implementation of talent and reward programs that include total rewards strategy, competitive benchmarking, and pay analyses
• Contribute to the development of new tools and approaches

People/Clients

• Interface with colleagues from other practices and regions on assignments that reflect the client’s’ broader business issues
• Develop a trusted advisor relationship with client contacts through effective communication and efficient, quality execution of projects
• Coach, mentor and manage different level of project resources to deliver client requirements

Financial

• Meet revenue and billable hour goals as described by manager
• Support the generation of new business as part of the broader team
• Develop new business opportunities and enhance existing relationships through the support of marketing initiatives, research papers and conference presentations.
• Directly contribute to clients’ success through applying your technical expertise



The Requirements

• 5+ years of experience and exposure to a broad range of compensation practices
• Experience designing elements of a total compensation programs, especially salary and incentive plans
• Creative, analytical and results-driven orientation, demonstrated through the ability to draw conclusions, themes, and trends from data analysis, make recommendations on findings and communicate results effectively
• Bilingual French / English
• Proven experience successfully managing multiple, multi-faceted projects and producing quality deliverables on time and within budget
• Demonstrated success or strong evidence to support new business generation
• Strong relationship builder able to proactively manage and expand client relationships
Display polished and well developed oral and written communication skills
• Experience making presentations to all levels of management; including a level of comfort with executive and Board member presentations
• Self-starter attitude with an ability to work independently
• Demonstrated ability to train/mentor/manage junior staff
• Extensive knowledge and experience working with PowerPoint and Excel.
• Interest and ability to travel domestically and globally, as projects may require
• Bachelors degree required, MBA preferred.
