Software Engineer (DevOps)

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our team. You should be able to recognize and stay up to date on current techniques and tools, but also be pragmatic at determining what is and isn"EURTMt a good fit. Responsibilities include: balance development of strategic DevOps initiatives with supporting day-to-day developer operations. Interface with multiple software teams in order to provide technical guidance on DevOps best practices and support as needed and assist with design, planning, and implementation of moving customer-facing applications into Microsoft Azure.

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our team. You should be able to recognize and stay up to date on current techniques and tools, but also be pragmatic at determining what is and isn"EURTMt a good fit. Responsibilities include:
"EUR- Balance development of strategic DevOps initiatives with supporting day-to-day developer operations
"EUR- Interface with multiple software teams in order to provide technical guidance on DevOps best practices and support as needed
"EUR- Assist with design, planning, and implementation of moving customer-facing applications into Microsoft Azure
"EUR- Actively lead and participate in activities that span the various stages of the DevOps pipeline (planning, dev/test, debugging, optimization, release, and monitoring)
"EUR- Continual optimization of current development pipelines to bring them closer to true CI/CD
"EUR- Create and maintain accurate documentation of infrastructure, best practices, and technical solutions
"EUR- Conduct internal information and training sessions in order to help foster continuous learning and development
"EUR- Work and communicate effectively in an agile team environment
"EUR- Mentor others on the team, but be open to others"EURTM ideas


The Requirements 
We"EURTMre looking for individuals who love building software. You should have experience, but always be willing to learn new things. You will also meet the following requirements:

"EUR- BA/BS in Computer Science or related field and/or equivalent software development experience
"EUR- 2+ years of experience of DevOps or combined software development and system administration experience
"EUR- 2+ years of experience with automation/configuration management using either Powershell DSC, Puppet, Chef, or an equivalent
"EUR- 2+ years of experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment methodologies and tooling
"EUR- Demonstrate systemic approaches to problem solving ambiguous problems and a sense of ownership and drive
"EUR- Be great at communicating ideas, as well as considering other"EURTMs ideas
"EUR- Experience developing for or administering SQL Server or similar enterprise-grade relational database technologies preferred
"EUR- Experience and/or familiarity with developing cloud-first (Azure, AWS, GCP) software solutions preferred
"EUR- Experience developing or administering web applications preferred, experience with IIS, .NET, and Javascript frameworks such as NodeJS a plus
"EUR- Familiarity with container technologies such as Docker a plus
