Collections Advisor

Key Purpose of the Role: Worldpay aims to be a leader in Modern Money. As a true business partner, Worldpay is committed to improving the back office processes that support our business. The successful candidate will work in a busy Collections Contact Centre with a real passion for delivery in a target driven environment. As a collections agent you will work pro-actively with our customers to find positive solutions to outstanding debt positions and for those experiencing financial difficulties. This role is fast-paced working across multiple platforms with the aim to provide a First Time Resolution service to all of our SME customers. To do this you will work to resolve Direct Debit issues & make arrangements with those customers who require short-term solutions in relation to their finances. You will work within a heavily regulated sector ensuring that you are compliant in following the FCA, DPA, TCF & Banking Code Regulations. Key Responsibilities: • Strong customer service skills and the ability to think on your feet • Able to work to target in the SME Collections Telephony Contact Centre • You must be organised & able to work at speed • Drive cash collection across multiple platforms • Investigating & setting up Direct Debits through route cause analysis • Working with our customers experiencing vulnerable or financial difficulties • Establish rapport in order to overcome objections & negotiate payment of the debt • Documenting of all customer interactions & establishing payment arrangements where appropriate whilst adhering to the Quality Assurance standards • Contribute to process improvements • To collaborate and share best practice with peers and wider departments • Operate in line with the FCA, DPA, TCF and Banking Code Regulations
