Software Developer

The Software Developer works on projects where he/she will play an active role in creating software enhancements and new products. A vigilant developer, he/she will work on the planning, designing and coding of enhancements for our current offerings. He/she will also work with cross-functional teams to build software solutions for current issues or to incorporate advancements in technology. Always searching to continuously improve Worldpay's catalog of products and services, we will create and maintain stable, reliable systems for our clients and partners. Responsibilities: • Plans, designs, develops and tests software systems or applications for software enhancements and new products. • Works cross-functionally to address issues and emerging needs in software systems. • Rigorously tests software in preparation for deployment. • Works on projects from enhancements, new features and bug fixes to new and replacement products. • Works on problems where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors. • Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action. • Builds productive internal/external working relationships. • Experience in Java, JUnit, Git, Jira, PostgreSQL and Free Pascal (desirable) Qualifications: • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience.
