
Sr. Network Compliance Expe
• Leads and supports the organization in complying with (as well as the ongoing preparation,
testing and monitoring of conformance to) the requirements of network and card brand operating
rules and regulations. • Performs evaluation of internal operations, controls, communications, risk
assessments and maintenance of documentation as related to network compliance and makes
recommendations for appropriate changes. • Conducts and facilitates internal and external audits to
identify, evaluate, disclose and appropriately remedy risks and deficiencies. • Coordinates the
preparation of—and may prepare document packages for—network submissions from all areas of company
as well as for internal and external audits and inspections. • May serve as point of contact for
interactions with regulatory agencies for defined matters. • Having wide-range experience, uses
professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective
ways. • Requires a wide-array of detailed knowledge of the payments industry. • Has ability to
interpret operating rules and broad regulations or notifications and relate them to specific
business and/or technical impacts. • Has expertise in several areas of network compliance. • Fluent
in transaction flows and technical manuals. • Proven skill in training/presenting complex
information at a level appropriate for the audience. • Works on complex issues where analysis of
situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. • Exercises judgment in
selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. • Networks with key
contacts outside own area of expertise. • Responsible for fully understanding complex, technical
and process changes that require extensive research and consultation. • Must be articulate when
presenting identified impacts and associated requirements to wide-range of IT and business units. •
Must clearly communicate with networks to clarify rules, bulletins and technical requirements on
behalf of internal and external clients. • Experienced compliance subject matter expert in
presenting case to networks for rule or technical modifications and/or variances that clearly
depicts purpose, scope and impact to industry stakeholders. • Determines methods and procedures on
new assignments and may coordinate activities of with or through other personnel. Qualifications: •
Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 6 years
and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 3 years of experience; or equivalent experience. All the above
