  Tim Jarman

  Tim is an experienced and passionate Diversity and Inclusiveness professional, having joined EY’s D&I team in 2007. Prior to that, spent several years in EY’s Human Capital team. Before joining EY, Tim spent 4.5 years at Fidelity International, including time working in India on offshoring projects. Tim is a vocal advocate for LGBT+ equality, both in the workplace and beyond. He has been repeatedly recognized for this work over the years, for example being featured in the UK Pride Power List in 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019. In 2019, Tim took part in the first cohort of ESCP Europe Business School's LGBT+ Leadership Programme. He holds a BSc International Studies (Hons) degree from the Open University which he achieved during his time at EY and has recently been working towards a Level 6 Certificate in Leadership and Management from the Chartered Management Institute (CMI).

Starting in Executive search, followed by 5 years of extensive in-house talent specialist roles. At the inception of Oath (which became Verizon Media) the opportunity for me to combine my passion for people, culture, and diversity was realised. I started my journey by leading our EMEA Program Operations, I also Globally Lead our 9 Employee Resource groups (ERGs). Our ERGs membership is 5,500+, this makes up more than half our employees around the world! We have most recently become Yahoo and our goal is to embed Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging in everything we do. Creating a mindset of Conscious Inclusion, a place where everyone belongs and every door is open.

  Michael Gunning is best known as a international competitive swimmer having attended two FINA World Swimming Championships. Holding dual Jamaican and British citizenship, he represented Team GB in the European LEN Cup and after the Rio Olympic Games he changed alliances to represent his fathers heritage of Team Jamaica. Gunning took a break from competing in the Summer of 2018 to participate in the award-winning television series 'The Bi Life' for E! Entertainment & NBC Universal. It was Michael's first public discussion of his sexuality, making him the Caribbean’s first openly gay athlete / swimmer. Since then, Michael is a regular pundit and avid speaker for the sport and recently partnered with Sky Sports, Stonewall and Athlete Ally as a Professional Ambassador/Advocate for LGBTQ+ rights in sport. With a heavy passion for TV Presenting and educational background in Children’s Entertainment, he welcomes new and exciting media opportunities in the world of entertainment.
