Paul ‘The Sinnerman’ Sinha – Comedy Night Fundraiser

Join Macquarie’s LGBTQ+ & BAME employee network groups for an evening of comedy fun with ITV's The Chase Paul Sinha!

About this Event

To mark LGBT+ History month, Pride and Fusion (Macquarie’s LGBTQ+ and BAME employee network groups) are delighted to invite you to attend an evening of comedy fun with Paul Sinha!

Paul has lead an extraordinary career as a qualified doctor, “The Sinnerman” on ITV’s The Chase and an award-winning stand-up comedian. Identifying as a gay Anglo-Bengali, Paul’s relaxed, friendly, story-telling comedic style combines wry observations on life and the world with beautifully crafted one-liners, in addition to a wealth of anecdotes from his experiences with patients and bureaucracy.

All funds raised from this event will be split equally between two charities chosen by Pride and Fusion:

- The Outside Project: the UK’s first LGBTQ+ community shelter and centre – a grassroots movement led by LGBTQ+ ex-homeless persons, homelessness professionals and activists.

- Black Training and Enterprise Group (BTEG): a national charity delivering programmes to empower young BAME people aged 11-30 years through education, employment and enterprise.

We respectfully request a minimum donation £10 per person – but of course, please feel free to donate more! Access details for the webinar will be sent to your registered email address prior to the event.

The Pride network is an employee network group, for LGBTQ+ employees and their allies, that aims to promote an inclusive workplace where all employees feel safe to bring their whole selves to work.

The Fusion network is an employee network group which seeks to connect and engage Macquarie staff of different races, ethnicities, cultures and faiths.
