I also have over 19 years, working as a Trustee with Allsorts youth project (an LGBTU+ youth project for young people under the age of 26). I am an avid swimmer and competes and is part of the management member of the LGBT+ & allies swimming club Out To Swim South

    A medical scientist by background, I have spent the first seventeen years of my career working in the field of patient safety, both in the pharmaceutical and service provider sectors. I currently lead the global safety science team within the Pharmacovigilance department of a large Contract Research Organisation (CRO) - PPD, a part of Thermo Fisher Scientific. In 2019 I became one of the founding executive sponsors of PPD's LGBT+ employee resource group "PPD Pride."

    Hannah joined AstraZeneca's R&D Graduate Scheme in 2018 after receiving her BSc in Biomedical Sciences with Industrial Placement from the University of Leeds. She has worked in various early-phase drug discovery functions and is currently based in the Functional Genomics Centre, a joint venture with CRUK which aims to use pooled CRISPR screening to identify oncology drug resistance targets. Hannah is an active member of AZPride, AstraZeneca's LGBTQIA+ employee resource group, having represented the group at early-talent events including Student Pride and LGBT Leaders in STEM. She is passionate about cultivating an inclusive culture in scientific research.

Scott works at Gilead Sciences and is currently the HIV Market Access lead for the UK and Ireland. In 2019 Scott became leader of the Pride Alliance at Gilead and is passionate about supporting a diverse and inclusive workplace culture

    I have been involved in Diversity and Inclusion initiatives in a large corporation for the last 4 years and now freelancing as a D&I Specialist. I have 2 children in their 20’s, one of whom identifies as gay and non-binary. I became European Ally Lead for the LGBTQ+ ERG in 2017, working with volunteers to develop materials to engage and educate Allies for ERG chapters globally. I firmly believe that by working collaboratively we can raise the bar and make work a place where everyone can be their best self.
