    I'm been working in IT support at Roche for 11 years. I set up the UK branch of OPEN (Roche's LGBTQ+ & allies staff forum) in 2016 and we have been involved with Brighton Pride from 2017 onwards. I also have over 19 years, working as a Trustee with Allsorts youth project (an LGBTU+ youth project for young people under the age of 26). I am an avid swimmer and competes and is part of the management member of the LGBT+ & allies swimming club Out To Swim South

I currently lead the global safety science team within the Pharmacovigilance department of a large Contract Research Organisation (CRO). In 2019 I became one of the founding executive sponsors of PPD's LGBT+ employee resource group "PPD Pride."

    Hannah joined AstraZeneca's R&D Graduate Scheme in 2018 after receiving her BSc in Biomedical Sciences with Industrial Placement from the University of Leeds. She has worked in various early-phase drug discovery functions and is currently based in the Functional Genomics Centre, a joint venture with CRUK which aims to use pooled CRISPR screening to identify oncology drug resistance targets. Hannah is an active member of AZPride, AstraZeneca's LGBTQIA+ employee resource group, having represented the group at early-talent events including Student Pride and LGBT Leaders in STEM. She is passionate about cultivating an inclusive culture in scientific research.

    I have worked in Pharmaceutical Manufacture Quality Assurance for over 30 years, starting out as a lab analyst, through leader positions, and into my current role in a Quality Systems Team. I have 2 children in their 20’s, one of whom identifies as gay and non-binary. I joined Pfizer’s LGBTQ+ group, OPEN, in 2016, becoming European Ally Lead in 2017. I lead on the development of materials to engage and educate Allies in Pfizer Europe, sharing the materials and my passion for the engagement of Allies with OPEN chapters globally. I firmly believe that by working collaboratively we can raise the bar and make work a place where everyone can be their best self.
