WorkPride Panel: Girl power! The importance of women in the workplace

The workforce today is fortunately more diverse than ever when it comes to gender. Women make up the majority of all staff nowadays, holding roughly 50% of all management and professional roles, in which 37 female CEOs made it to the Fortune 500 list.

Having women as part of the workforce has been evolving, but what does it mean to actually have female peers be themselves at work? What valuable inputs can they bring in and how can they generate business value?

We want to share the experiences of women from different backgrounds, namely what it means to be an LGBTQ+ woman in 2021, and how they can inspire others to be their true selves in professional and casual settings.

What are the challenges during this time of COVID-19?

Why is visibility and representation more important than ever?

What are some of the barriers that stop women from being 'out' in the workplace and how can this be overcome?

How can we be better allies to each other? Who are some of your LGBTQ+ role models?
