In addition to being a public speaker and D&I consultant, Michelle is also an accomplished musician who performs under the artist name ‘Michi.’ She has graced the stage with some of the biggest names in music today including Miley Cyrus, Meghan Trainor, DJ Marshmello, Rita Ora, and Carly Rae Jepsen.

    I am currently leading Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging (DIB) for Spotify in EMEA, where I am implementing a region-wide strategy as well as supporting the global DIB ambitions of the organisation. I am also developing an LGBTQIA+ strategy which will be published later this year. Previous roles include, Global Diversity & Inclusion Manager for Lloyd’s, where I supported and oversaw Diversity, Inclusion, Wellbeing and Culture objectives for the corporation as well as supporting the Insurance market. In 2020 I led the Dive In festival (https://diveinfestival.com/), which had a global attendance of over 30,000 people across 35 countries and 144 events. I have also co-authored various guides and reports for the insurance market (https://inclusionatlloyds.com/resources/toolkit/). Prior to Lloyd's I was a global Diversity and Inclusion manager for Natwest Group, formerly RBS. Prior to working in Diversity and Inclusion, I spent a number of years in customer facing roles within the bank and before this, spent approximately 10 years with Disney, both in UK Disney Stores and Disney Cruise line in the USA. I graduated University with a BA (Hons) in Drama and Theatre Studies I am married and is the proud husband to Hamish and dad to two adorable dogs Zak and Barney.

    Carlos Hernández is Global Talent Development & Engagement Specialist at Cabify and he also takes part in the Diversity Committee leading the LGTB squad. Cabify is a multi-mobility technology platform with the aim of making cities better places to live. Carlos has worked in Talent Acquisition for 7 years, always in multicultural and multinational environments. He has been connected to fast paced environments where adapting to change and being solution oriented was key for success, and has developed an open and continuous improvement mindset. Now based in Madrid but, prior to Cabify, he worked as Recruitment Lead for Booking.com and was also member of the LGBT coordination team there, where he played a key part on the engagement of the collective at the London office. Carlos graduated in Psychology in the Universidad Autónoma of Madrid.
