Air Canada Is Replacing ‘Ladies And Gentlemen’ With ‘Hello Everyone’ To Be More Gender Inclusive
Air Canada planes will great people with “hello everyone” or “tout le monde” instead of “ladies and gentlemen” or “mesdames et messieurs” in order to be more gender-inclusive, ‘CTV News’ report.
An Air Canada spokesperson said: “We will be amending our onboard announcements to modernise them and remove specific references to gender. We work hard to make sure all employees feel like valued members of the Air Canada family, while ensuring our customers are comfortable and respected when they choose to travel with us.”
