Bi character Benedict confirmed as Bridgerton season 4 lead

In an official update from the streaming service, it has been revealed that the upcoming fourth season of Netflix’s period drama will feature Benedict Bridgerton as the central character.
For those well-versed in Bridgerton lore, Benedict (portrayed by Luke Thompson) is known as the family's second son and is characterised as a “bohemian” figure who has chosen to remain a bachelor, despite his siblings being married. In a recent storyline in the latter part of the third season, Benedict is involved in a threesome with Lady Tilley Arnold (played by Hannah New) and Paul Suarez (played by Lucas Aurelio), further exploring his queer identity.

According to ‘Gay Times’, the new season will focus on Benedict’s reluctance to settle down until he encounters an intriguing Lady in Silver at a masquerade ball, as hinted by the Netflix social media account. Benedict’s journey in season four will involve his pursuit of this mysterious woman within the marriage market, exploring a more grounded aspect of his character as he seeks greater stability.
