Boy, 16, Attacked In Homophobic Assault At Oxford Fun Fair

A 16-year-old boy was reportedly attacked several times during a homophobic hate-crime at a fun fair in Oxford, ‘Oxford Mail’ reports. 


The boy wad attacked twice. Both times the young boy identified his attackers as black at around the age of 16-19. The boy was punched in the face several times and was left with a broken nose. 




Investigating officer PC Carly Meads, who is based at Abingdon police station, said: "This was a frightening experience for the victim and I am urging anyone who believes that they recognise the description of the offenders to come forward.


"I am appealing to anybody was at the fair in the area at the time of the offence who believes that they may have any information to contact the non-emergency number on 101, quoting the reference number 43190312410."
