Controversial trans figure Caitlyn Jenner has made donations in excess of $50,000 to several LGBT+ charities as part of her new foundation, reportsGay Times Magazine.
The donations are part of her new Caitlyn Jenner Foundation, which she started eighteen months ago. All of the donations have been made to organisations in Arizona.
“I had a great time today distributing four grants to extremely deserving organizations in the Phoenix area. I am blessed to be a part of this community,” Jenner said.
“I want to concentrate on this next generation coming up, the ones that are 5 to 15 to 20 years old, this next generation coming up to make it easier for them. Don’t put all of these challenges out in front of them. Make it more normal.”
Among the organisations chosen was GLSEN Phoenix, an organisation that ensures schools are safe for LGBT+ students. The other organisations had a similar focus on LGBT+ youth.
