Call Me By Your Name 2 Has Been Confirmed
In a new interview, director Luca Guadagnino confirmed that there will be a sequel to the original film ‘Call Me By Your Name’ and the entire cast will be coming back too.
The novel received a second edition title ‘Find Me’ which follows Elio’s father Samuel who is headed to Rome to visit his son.
“A chance encounter on the train leads to a relationship that changes Sami’s life definitively,” the publisher wrote in a press release about the book. “Elio soon moves to Paris where he too has a consequential affair, while Oliver, now a professor in northern New England with sons who are nearly grown, suddenly finds himself contemplating a return visit to Europe.”
Although the second installment of the book has been confirmed it is unclear whether it will follow the same course or not. What has been confirmed is that the cast will be the same as in the original movie.
“Of course, it’s a great pleasure to work with Timothée Chalamet, Armie Hammer, Michael Stuhlbarg, Esther Garrel, and the other actors, they will all be in the new film,” Guadagnino said in an interview, According to ‘Out’.
