Cross Fit Athlete Alec Smith Came Out As Gay
In an emotional video on his Instagram page, cross fit athlete Alec Smith has come out as gay.
His caption writes: “Took a DNA test, turns out I’m gay.”
He starts his video by saying: “I know this isn’t a fitness-related post, but there’s been something on my mind that I’ve been wanting to talk to you guys about for a while now. I think I’m finally ready to. So, I’m gay, and I’m at a point in my life now where I’m okay with that.”
He goes on to say he had known since the age of 12 that he was attracted to men, which he “hated” himself for.
He continues to say that he first came out to his close friends and since moving to New York so many people are accepting of his sexuality and he reached a point where he wanted to share more about his personal life with his followers so he made the decision of coming out to them too.
