Fitch Pride Network Commemorates It’s 2nd Foundation Day

On Friday January 29th, 2021, the Fitch Pride Network celebrated its second anniversary with a global Zoom event!

On the heels of Fitch Group receiving a perfect score of 100 on the HRC Corporate Equality Index, we invited our special guest host, Andrew Gelwicks, who is the author of “The Queer Advantage.” Andrew shared some candid stories about his upbringing, as well as walking us through some of the conversations he’s had with prominent LGBTQAI+ individuals such as Shangela, Dominique Jackson, and Beth Brooke-Marciniak. Andrew’s focus in these conversations was on how being a part of the queer community can often times be a valuable asset in life.

During the event we also had 3 small breakout sessions, where different Fitch employees got to meet folks around the world they may not have met otherwise, to discuss the core these of Andrews book:

• Awareness
• Leadership

The event itself was a great success, and FPN received positive feedback from any of the employees who participated!
