Gilead Launches #Fearlessforall Campaign to Mark World AIDS Day 2021
Business
This #WorldAIDSDay, Gilead is spotlighting brave, passionate individuals
who are #FearlessForAll. The work
happening to help end HIV/AIDS is a movement against adversity, against stigma
and against the many other barriers that keep us from our goal to end the
epidemic.
In conjunction with this year’s UNAIDS World AIDS Day theme (End Inequalities. End AIDS. End Pandemics.), Fearless For All celebrates people working toward ending inequalities and ending the epidemic. These Fearless For All stories originate from five different areas of the globe: Ferran Pujol, founding member and project director of NOMS-Hispanosida and Barcelona (BCN) Checkpoint from Barcelona, Spain; Idan Barak, Executive Director of the Israel AIDS Task Force (IATF) from Tel Aviv, Israel; Angelina Namiba, founding member of 4M Network from London, U.K.; Rena Janamnuaysook, co-founder of Tangerine in Bangkok, Thailand; and Gina Brown of the Southern AIDS Coalition in the U.S.
Gilead is proud to tell their
stories.
Kenya-born advocate Angelina Namiba has been living with #HIV for 28
years. Now, she’s a project manager and mentor for the 4M Project, a network of
immigrants and other women living with HIV in the U.K. and beyond. She’s passionate about
providing guidance to other women, about educating people about HIV in an
effort to reduce stigma and about working with mothers living with HIV on their
own personal development and training them how to provide support for their
peers.
