Kelly Rowland To Headline Birmingham Pride 2020
Kelly Rowland, the Destiny’s Child singer who has racked up nine UK Top 10 hits as solo artist, has been confirmed as a headliner for Birmingham Pride 2020.
“UK, the secret is out!”,the singer wrote on Twitter. “Can’t wait to see you at this year's @BirminghamPride!”
As ‘Attitude’ reports, Rowland will take to the main stage on Sunday, May 24th to celebrate LGBT+ equality. On the main stage on Sunday RuPaul’s Drag Race star Peppermint will also perform as wells the 90’s Eurodance icons The Vengaboys.
This year’s Birmingham Pride weekend events, including the Main Stage, Cabaret Stage, Dance Arena and funfair, will be relocated to a new site in Smithfield.
Birmingham Pride festival director Lawrence Barton, said: "While the gay village will remain at the heart of the event as an integral part of the celebrations, the new festival site on the former Birmingham Wholesale Market gives us the opportunity to make Birmingham Pride 2020 the biggest and best yet.”
Birmingham Pride 2020 will take place on 23-24 of May.
