Memphis High School Gay Senior Crowned Homecoming Royalty
White Station High School gay senior Brandon Allen was crowned homecoming royalty by his fellow students.
Allen received his crown wearing a gold dress and the news and pictures have since become viral.
"It's the students' choice of who they want to support as homecoming royalty," said school principal Carrye Holland. "I'm exceedingly proud to be the principal of our amazing school. WSHS loves and supports everyone regardless of who they are or what they believe.”
“Thank you to everyone who has contributed to me becoming queen,” Allen wrote on Instagram. “You guys truly looked stunningly beautiful and I am so honoured to have been able to walk with you guys!”
