Bi people are just "experimenting" or "confused"
No. It’s not “just a phase”. Bisexuality is an identity in itself and if someone tells you they are bisexual, believe them.
A bisexual person's identity depends on who they are dating
A bisexual woman is still bisexual whether they're dating a man or a woman. A bisexual man is still bisexual whether they're dating a man or a woman. No matter who a bisexual person is dating, they remain bisexual. Their identity is always there.
Bisexuality is a 50/50 split
Your dating history doesn’t have to be 50% women and 50% men for you to be bisexual. That’s just absurd. You can have a history of all women, all men or anything in between (or even no one at all) and still be bisexual.
Bisexual people are only attracted to two genders
Yes, bisexual people are attracted to men and women, but this is because they are attracted to more than one or all genders, including non-binary people. Some people also identify as pansexual, meaning they are attracted to people regardless of gender.
Bisexual people are greedy
Would you call someone greedy because they enjoyed both pizza and burgers? Just because bisexuals are attracted to more than one gender, doesn’t make them any greedier than anyone else. Many bisexual people are happy in committed relationships, or not dating anyone at all.
