Rebel Wilson First Child: “She’s A Beautiful Miracle”

November 7, 2022

Rebel Wilson is “beyond proud” to announce the birth of her first child. On November 7, the Australian actress confirmed that her daughter, Royce Lillian, was born via surrogate, according to Gay Times.

“I can’t even describe the love I have for her, she’s a beautiful miracle!” wrote Wilson. “I am forever grateful to everyone who has been involved, (you know who you are), this has been years in the making… but particularly wanted to thank my gorgeous surrogate who carried her and birthed her with such grace and care. Thank you for helping me start my own family, it’s an amazing gift. The BEST gift!”

Wilson continued to say that she is “ready” to give “little Roycie all the love imaginable,” adding: “I am learning quickly… much respect to all the mums out there! Proud to be in your club.”

Royce’s birth arrives a few months after Wilson came out and confirmed her romance with Lemon Ve Limon founder Ramona Agruma. “I thought I was searching for a Disney Prince… but maybe what I really needed all this time was a Disney Princess,” she wrote on Instagram.

Wilson, who is yet to define her sexuality, concluded her caption with love heart and rainbow emojis with the hashtag, #loveislove.

In an interview with PEOPLE earlier this year, Wilson revealed that she was set up with her new partner “through a friend” and they “spoke on the phone for weeks” before they met, although she didn’t specifically name Agruma. “And that was a really good way to get to know each other. It was a bit old-school in that sense – very romantic,” she said.

“I think going through the process of finding more self-worth, I think that what you want in a partner is elevated and so it’s great to have someone who feels like an equal partner and be in a healthy relationship.

Wilson is best known for her roles in critically-acclaimed comedies such as Bridesmaids (2011), Bachelorette (2012), the Pitch Perfect series (2012-2017), Isn’t It Romantic, and Jojo Rabbit (both 2019).
