Star Wars Icon Billy Dee Williams Comes Out As Gender Fluid
Billie Dee Williams has come out as gender fluid. The 82-year-old actor, widely known for his role as Lando Calrissian in Star Wars said he uses both “himself’ and ‘herself’, ‘Daily Mail’ reports.
“You see I say "himself" and "herself," because I also see myself as feminine as well as masculine,” he revealed.
“I’m a very soft person. I’m not afraid to show that side of myself.”
The actor also talks about the TV movie ‘Brian’s Song’ which earned him an Emmy nomination.
“It was a love story, really,” he said. “Between two guys. Without sex. It ended up being a kind of breakthrough in terms of racial division.”
Billy Dee Williams is set to play his role as Lando Calrissian in the upcoming Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, to be released on December 20th.
