Survey: Impact of Employee Resource Groups on LGBTQ+ Employees

Survey: Impact of Employee Resource Groups on LGBTQ+ Employees

March 9, 2022

This is a survey examining the experiences of LGBTQ+ people in Employee Resource Groups, on behalf of Middle Tennessee State University.

Jacob Stone is currently pursuing his master’s degree in Industrial Organizational Psychology at Middle Tennessee State University. As part of his thesis requirement for the degree, he is studying the impact of employee resource groups (ERGs) on LGBTQIA+ employees, including potential effects on turnover intentions, organizational commitment, job satisfaction, and perceptions of organizational support.

To examine these relationships, Jacob has created a survey and is asking for your help in filling it out. Your participation in this survey would mean a great deal, both to Jacob, and to the integrity of his study of the experiences of the LGBTQIA+ community. This study fills a gap in current research since the impact of ERGs on these employee experiences has not been empirically studied.

Your responses are completely anonymous and will not be shared. You can access the survey by clicking on the link below; please only take the survey once. When you finish the survey, you will see a message confirming that your response has been recorded. You are welcome to share this link with any others.

Please contact Jacob if you have any questions or concerns by email at [email protected].

We appreciate your time and look forward to hearing about your experiences. The link: https://mtsupsychology.az1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_7anXRflRH10y486
