Taylor Swift Wins ‘Video Of The Year’ in VMA’s For LGBT+ Anthem ‘You Need To Calm Down’

Taylor Swift did it once again! She took home both the ‘Video For Good’ as well as the ‘Video Of The Year’ awards for her LGBT+-celebrating anthem ‘You need to calm down’.




In her acceptance speech, she talks about the importance of the ‘Video Of The Year Award’ being voted by fans, meaning all of them also support and want a ‘world where we are all treated equally under the law’.


Taylor Swift Went on stage to accept this award accompanied by the drag queen who starred in the video.


One of the drag queens, dressed as Taylor Swift, looked so much the part, that John Travolta who was giving the award mistook her for Swift, and almost gave the award to her.
