Valentina Sampaio to be the first trans Victoria's Secret model

Victoria’s Secret has hired its first-ever openly transgender model, Valentina Sampaio.

Sampaio’s agent has confirmed that the Brazilian beauty will be the face of the new Pink line campaign, to be released in August.

Her manager went on to state about his client that “She is super happy and proud to represent all her community. She hopes this opportunity shall be another step to break barriers.”

As for Sampaio herself, she shared a backstage picture of her wearing a bathrobe in her Instagram account.

She also uploaded another a picture of herself laughing while enjoying a beautiful sunset writing “Life is amazing... Love more and hate less, hate is useless, just do not waste time with it!”

In 2017 Valentina made fashion history as the first transgender model ever to appear on the cover of Vogue Paris.
