2021 Corporate Equality Index (CEI) and named one of the “Best Places to Work for LGBTQ Equality"

We are thrilled that VMware has achieved 100% on the Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s 2021 Corporate Equality Index (CEI) and named one of the “Best Places to Work for LGBTQ Equality,” for the fourth consecutive year.

This year, VMware achieved an important milestone by expanding Self-ID* to include gender identity, pronouns, and LGBTQ+ data fields. As a result, nonbinary and LGBTQ+ is now included in our HRIS (Human Resource Information System) underscoring our commitment to LGBTQ+ inclusion in the workplace.

Our LGBTQ+ members and their families are offered a comprehensive program of benefits that are among the best in the industry. This includes full benefits parity between same-sex and different-sex spouses, including domestic partners. And we make no transgender exclusions on any of our plans.
