YouTuber Niki Albon Comes Out
YouTuber Niki Albon came out in an emotional video. In a 20-minute clip uploaded on his YouTube page, the British personality admitted to his 185,000 subscribers that he is gay.
“I’m gay & this video has been 27 years in the making,” Niki told his fans.
He continued, “I feel like I haven’t been honest and truthful the entire time with myself, let alone with anyone else. I feel like I was just being deceptive, and saying that now it’s just so stupid, but it got me down. For the last four years I feel like I wasn’t being my honest self, which is annoying in so many ways.”
In his video, Niki also admitted he was scared to come out to his family, explaining: “The only reason I hadn’t come out sooner is because of fear. I’ve come out to my entire family now, I came out to my dad’s side of the family two days ago and it was exactly how I knew it would be, but you just don’t know [until you do it].”
As well as his video Niki also shared a photo of him and his close family while he is wearing a black jumper with a rainbow stripe.
