Bayer
Bayer

Bayer is a global company with core competencies in the Life Science fields of health and nutrition. With the support of our innovative products, we are playing a  fundamental role in finding solutions to some of the major challenges of our time.

A growing and ageing population requires an adequate supply of food and improved medical care. Therefore, our research and development activities are focused on improving people’s quality of life by preventing, alleviating and treating diseases. Our ambition - to explore the future and all of its possibilities to help people and the planet thrive.

We are committed to the principles of sustainable development and to our social and ethical responsibilities as a corporate citizen. This means that our stakeholders are continually at the heart of what we do.

Our culture is shaped by innovation and we nurture this through the excellent development opportunities that we offer to our employees. Diversity is a fixed part of the corporate culture at Bayer - we want to be as colourful and diverse as the world in which we live.

BLEND is the name of a global LGBTI and ally community at Bayer. Its aim is to raise awareness of LGBTI issues and to promote an inclusive and open corporate culture. Nobody at Bayer should have to conceal their personality or ideas. The BLEND community organises a variety of events internally and externally as well as acts as a business resource network on LGBTI-relevant topics (e.g. employment policies, inclusive marketing). Worldwide, BLEND has representatives in the United Kingdom as well as local chapters in 11 countries.

"Bayer stands for equality and diversity because it is really important to us that all of our employees feel at ease at work and have the chance to fully develop their creativity and innovative capability."
