About Us

Abellio is pleased and proud to be the operator of EMR until 2027. It’s our vision to connect cities, support communities and create easier journeys for everyone across the East Midlands. And we’re investing £600m over the next eight years to make your railway fit for purpose in the 2020s.

As part of this investment, we’re improving our stations, our timetables and our trains. We’re introducing a new intercity fleet on our routes to and from London, and we’re refurbishing two new, faster and more modern regional fleets across the rest of our network. We’re investing in our new website and mobile app, improving ticket buying facilities and encouraging Smartcard use, to streamline the travel experience. And we’re investing in our people – who make all this possible.
