edyn believe that travel should be a rich journey of discovery, rewarding curiosity with knowledge and inspiration.
Across all properties within the edyn group, the focus is on ensuring guests leave with stories to tell, with enduring memories and new friendships. We believe that everyone deserves a life less ordinary, and our purpose is to help to find the experiences which make discovering new destinations so rewarding.
We offer a better way. Our purpose is to engage and inspire with distinctively designed hotels, firmly rooted in the local neighbourhood, offering vibrant experiences and connections which nourish and enliven the soul.
Over the past 18 years, edyn has created an extensive range of serviced apartments and aparthotels across our four brands - Locke, SACO, The Moorgate and Wittenberg, as well as a wide-ranging partner network, developing a global supply chain of over 80,000 apartments in 260 key locations. We have offices in London and Bristol and properties across the UK, with further European expansion in 2020 and beyond.
The courage to question, to evolve, to be human.
We reject the idea of a ‘work’ persona which is at odds with the way we really are. Conformity is the enemy of creativity, innovation, and change. It’s the freedom to be ourselves that keeps us alive and engaged at work and play. But it takes courage to be an individual, to challenge convention and look for different, better ways to do and to be. It takes courage to accept accountability and to empower those around us.
Working at edyn
We don’t do ordinary hotel experiences. We don’t do ordinary careers either. We’re creators of urban sanctuaries where free thinkers belong. We call this soulful hospitality. It’s not just something we say. It’s something we live and breathe. That’s why we look for people with soul. People who bring their whole selves to work.
We want people to grow and journey with us as we expand rapidly across Europe and beyond. That’s why we’ve made development a key part of everyone’s journey with edyn. From coaching and mentoring to leadership training programmes, you’ll find the support you need to get where you want to be technically and literally, thanks to our openings in gateway cities across Europe.
We also aim for balance. We’ve created a culture and frameworks that help you work in a place and a way that works for you. Our flexible working policy lets you make permanent or temporary changes to where you work and your working hours.
We're on a journey to create an environment where everyone can learn, grow and evolve. It means fostering a culture that recognises the humanity in each other and ourselves.
Because our business is nothing more than bricks, mortar, activity, processes and systems. What really matters, what makes it so distinctive, what ties it all together, is our people. It’s us, how we work together, what we believe, how we behave and all that wonderful diversity of experience and perspective that will create Soulful Hospitality.
Diversity & Inclusion
One of our values is the ‘Courage to be Human’. It’s about having the freedom to be ourselves. Easier said than done at times – which is why we all need courage. We have partnered with myGwork to enable existing and future talent to connect and be inspired, through events, connections and learning opportunities. We believe in an authentic approach to inclusion which is about enlightening discussions and insights, rather than actions plans thought up in boardrooms that are quickly forgotten.
