About OU Endowment Management
OU Endowment Management Ltd is a commercial subsidiary of the University of Oxford. Initially incorporated to manage the long-term endowment of the University, we have expanded our business significantly over the last 10 years and now manage over £4bn in assets for over 30 different investors.
Our investors have extraordinary time horizons which is reflected in our investment approach. We seek to find the best investments in the world regardless of geography, sector, asset class and liquidity profile. To achieve this we perform fundamental analysis of themes, financial markets and people, and our end investments are broadly found in public and private equity, specialist credit, and property and land.
The majority of our investments are effected indirectly through partnering with exceptional investment groups; we also engage in co-investments and some direct investments, including in our property program. Given our name and reputation, we are able to take advantage of illiquid and long-term opportunities that are mostly inaccessible to other investors.

Working at OU Endowment Management
Since inception our results have been world class. Members of the senior team have received international awards and recognition for excellence. We also take significant pride in having grown the value of our investors’ capital, having produced over £1.5bn of gains for investors over the last 11 years.

The investment team is small and collegiate. We have a strong work ethic, strive for excellence and look for individuals to take responsibility and initiative. In return, OUem are committed to developing the key skills required to progress in the industry and, if appropriate, provide support through relevant professional qualifications. The firm has successfully put several Investment Analysts through the CFA program, and recently two were promoted to Investment Managers in recognition of their experience and skills.
