Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly self-motivated intern with an understanding of supply chain planning to join our team. You will play a crucial role in supporting and transforming data from MRP systems into visually appealing and insightful Power BI dashboards.

Your primary responsibilities will include ensuring data accuracy, supporting supply chain planning and analysis tasks, and driving operational excellence within the organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a passion for leveraging data to optimize supply chain processes and deliver outstanding results.

Work scope

Creating & sustaining Dashboards

  • Utilize Power BI & DAX to transform supply chain reports into visually appealing and insightful dashboards
  • Take responsibility for the accuracy and timeliness of data refresh in Dashboards.
  • Ensure that the data presented in the dashboards remains accurate, consistent, and up-to-date. Validate data inputs, perform data quality checks, and troubleshoot any data discrepancies to maintain the reliability of the dashboards.
  • Develop automation processes or establish a schedule for data refresh to maintain data accuracy and availability.

Transformation of data management

  • Generate innovative ideas for process improvement and contribute to the overall optimization of dashboard efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Continuously strive to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the dashboards by identifying new ways to streamline data management, optimize data visualization techniques, and enhance user experience.

Cross functional collaboration to achieve optimum effectiveness.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by actively participating in projects aimed at enhancing supply chain processes, data management, and operational efficiency.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to drive process improvements and support business goals.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Bachelor / Undergraduate Student majoring in Supply Chain/ Logistic, Analytics, Computer, Data Science or Statistics
  • Advance knowledge on Microsoft Excel and Power BI (DAX), Power Automate tools
  • Strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • Basic understanding in demand planning, supply planning and logistic operations
  • Basic understanding on MRP/ ERP system
  • An excellent team player who is ready to take responsibilities and work independently
  • Excellent communication, facilitation skill and presentation skills
  • Have a positive, proactive, can-do attitude
  • Eager to learn
