PA's Drive Control Sytems division supplies drive systems, drives with overhead control systems, to both industry (paper machines, steel production, etc.) and infra engineering (bridges and locks). Your responsibilities
- As a Service Engineer Drive Control Systems, the focus of the work is the maintenance of the control part and the application (software) of the drive systems.
- Your responsibilities include:
- Performing inspections, preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Accompanying customers to get the best return from the systems and advising to the systems
- Preparing advice, reports and migration projects.
- Drafting, preparing and giving instructions.
- Providing assistance in the design of new installations and systems.
- Providing assistance in the commissioning of systems.
- Providing technical support to the sales department.
- The work is mainly performed within the Benelux.
- This position involves a customized training program, in which you will learn knowledge of our customers' processes in addition to the necessary technical knowledge.
Your background
- You have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, preferably in Industrial Automation with an affinity for Control Technology and/or Energy Engineering.
- You are able to approach situations analytically and you have the right communication and social skills, team spirit, and a customer and result-oriented attitude without losing sight of commercial interests.
- You are flexible regarding working hours, so no 9 to 5 mentality.
- You are willing to work stand-by shifts.
- You have a good command of the Dutch and English language in word and writing.
- You are familiar with Office Software packages.
- You are in possession of driving license B.
